$45 Million Apartment Coming to Blackstone Neighborhood
You’ll soon see a major change in Omaha’s Blackstone neighborhood in midtown Omaha with a new $45 million apartment complex breaking ground this spring.
The project will add 180 much-needed housing units where the old WOWT-TV building stands today. With amenities like a pool and fire pits, these apartments aim to enhance the already vibrant district.
The new complex will be right along the new streetcar line.
You’ll find various housing options, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, with monthly rents ranging from $1,200 to $2,800.
The project timeline is already set, with demolition of the former WOWT-TV building scheduled to begin this spring.
Construction will then proceed over the next three years, with a targeted completion date in spring 2027.
