New Costco Opens in Northwest Omaha

After months of anticipation, the new Costco on West Maple Road has finally opened.

It’s situated near the intersection of North 180th Street and West Maple Road in West Omaha.

People in Omaha love to talk about the weather, taxes, and how terrible traffic is at the Costco on Dodge St. It got so bad, the city had to step in to force Costco to change traffic patterns.

The new Costco should (fingers crossed) help alleviate some of the congestion at the other store.

This is the third Costco in the Omaha area. The other is located in La Vista.

The new store is conveniently located in the fast growing Elkhorn area and across the street from Elkhorn North High School.

Stop by to get some gas, eat some hot dogs, buy some tires, and a take a rotisserie chicken for the road.

Costco… it’s a weird, wonderful place.
