Southwest Airlines To Offer Direct Flights to NYC and Miami
Great news for Omaha travelers who’ve been dreaming of easier escapes to the coast!
Southwest Airlines just announced they’re adding direct flights from Eppley Airfield to both New York City’s LaGuardia Airport and Miami International Airport, starting in March 2026.
The Big Apple flights launch March 5, 2026 and will operate daily except Saturdays year-round – perfect for those weekend getaways or business trips without the hassle of connecting flights.
Miami service begins March 7, 2026 but runs seasonally on Saturdays only.
